This loofah based scrubber is a perfect replacement for your plastic scourer. The cellulose sponge which does not break down in use, is sewn to the loofah scrubber instead of glued. Maistic Plastic Free Bio Scrubber is great for pots and pans and can even be cleaned in your dishwasher to be reused time after time. When you use a plastic scourer you will notice it disintegrates into tiny particles called microplastics These microplastics are then washed away down the drain and into the environment and ultimately our food chain. All Maistic sponges are washable in the dishwasher. Put it in the tray for glasses. Dry sponges standing up. Then the sponge is ready to be used again. Alternatively use boiling water with a little clear vinegar. Do not put Maistic Bio Kitchen Scrubber in the washing machine. Do not tumble dry, as this will reduce the product lifetime.
